Hi there, I’m Andy Chamberlin and work in the UVM Extension Ag Engineering Program and host of this Podcast!
I have a passion for sustainable agriculture, and educating farmers on ways that they can improve the sustainability of their farm business. Agriculture is an essential aspect to ecological sustainability, and can make a great lifestyle business, but it’s not easy, and finding the time to step off the farm for courses and external education is challenging. That is what inspires me to create a podcast which serves both as entertainment and education that you can listen to while you are still being productive in the field.
This podcast is designed to produce “short format” easy to digest topic centered episodes. Enough back story to set the stage, but go into the details about specific practices that really improve the sustainability on your farm. Episodes include specific tools, tips, techniques, practices, and reasonings about what works for them.

Bed prep, weed control, irrigation practices, fertilizing schemes – All practices I’d like to know more about

Choosing a topic and just covering that. I think that’s a cool angle to come at it from
